A healthcare facility in Williamsport, PA is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician for locum coverage with a 1-year commitment, managing outpatient and inpatient care while participating in a 1:3 call rotation. The physician will supervise an Advanced Practice Provider and utilize electronic medical records systems such as Aria and Cerner. Board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and relevant licensure are required for this role.

- Full-Time Commitment: Seeking a provider available full-time (5 days/week) ongoing for a year.
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, plus Call Rotation.
- Call Rotation: 1:3 call rotation (provider will be on call for the entire week via phone and in-person hospital consults). Response time is 30 minutes.
- Outpatient Volume: Manage up to 15 outpatients per day in the clinic (2 new patients, 30-minute follow-ups, 60-minute new patient appointments).
- Inpatient Volume: Average daily admissions while on call are 2.5 inpatients per day.
- Support: You will supervise an APP and will not work solo. APP/Mid-Level Coverage is available on-site.
- EMR/Charting: Utilize Aria and Cerner.
- Privileging: Estimated time to secure privileges is 60 days. Will consider a Fellow.
- Provide comprehensive Hematology/Oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting (5 days/week).
- Participate in the 1:3 call rotation, providing hem/onc consults both via phone and in person at the hospital.
- Supervise the Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Ensure timely completion of medical records (within 5 days of DOS) to avoid payment withholding.
- Board Status: REQUIRED to be Board Certified in Medical Oncology (MO) and/or Hematology/Oncology. (Heme only or IM will not be considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required (will consider a Fellow).
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State License is HIGHLY preferred, but the facility will accept candidates needing to obtain a license and those with IMLC in hand.
- Certifications: DEA and CSR licenses are required.
