Exciting Locum Opportunity for NP/PA in Emergency Medicine
Join a dedicated team at a Level 3 Emergency Department in Lansing, Michigan, where patient care and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. With an annual ER volume of over 40,000 patients, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast track area of the Emergency Department.
- Work independently with the support of attending physicians for case reviews and guidance.
- Manage an average of 110 patients per day, divided among providers.
- Document patient care and treatment plans using Cerner EMR.
- Coordinate admissions and transfers as per hospital protocols.
- Participate in a collaborative team environment with resident physicians and other staff.
Qualifications
- Board Certified NP/PA - Required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Local candidates preferred; no exceptions.
- Clean background for quick credentialing; no exceptions.
License and Certification Requirements
- Valid Michigan License (not accepting IMLC) - Required at the time of clearance
- DEA Registration - Verbal confirmation required at name clear
- Current ACLS and ATLS certifications - Required
